What is your teaching style?

我真的不知道该怎么回答这个问题. 我喜欢我教的东西,所以我想我很热情? I’m delighted when students want come to office hours to chat about what they learned in class or research ideas they have.

Why do you do what you do?

I absolutely love research and how it can be applied to improve the lives of animals, their families, and their caretakers. There’s nothing quite like being able to talk research with students, colleagues, and the public!

People learn best when they see how something can be applied to a topic that interest them. So my first goal is to help students see how what they’re learning can be valuable, 然后试着教授内容.
